 4040 Test Cells
 Don't mind board loading: 4040 CAN DO IT

4040 Multimode In‐Line Board Loading allows the composition of Test Cells by using dedicated loading/unloading units.
The Test Cells do not need the constant presence of an operator that oversees the different test phases. The operator loads a whole rack of boards, and the board loading/unloading from the rack is automated. 
The test results are sent to a remote station, where the information about the component failures can be processed.

The mechanisms used to create the test cells are the following:

TC 4040 100
LOADING+ 4040 TESTER + FLIP OVER + UNLOADING

The TC 4040 100 allows the test of both sides of the board, loading/unloading the board in automated way and positioning the pass and the fail boards in two different racks.

Operating flow:
- The Loading Unit takes the board out of the rack
- The board is transported in the test area and is tested on the top side
- The Flip Over Unit overturns the board, that is re‐transported in the testing area and tested on the bottom side
- At the end of the test, the Unloading Unit inserts the Pass and the Fail boards in two different racks

 

TC 4040 200
LOADING + 4040 TESTER + UNLOADING

The TC 4040 200 Test Cell allows the automation of the board loading/unloading, positioning the pass and the fail boards in two different racks after the test.
 

Operating flow:
- The Loading Unit takes the board out of the rack
- The board is transported to the test area, where is tested
- At the end of the test, the Unloading Unit inserts the Pass and the Fail boards in two different racks

 

TC 4040 300
LOADING + MAGAZINE FEEDER + 4040 TESTER

The TC 4040 300 Test Cell allows loading/unloading the boards in automated way and re‐placing them in the rack after the test.
It is the most compact and economic Test Cell configuration. It makes the automatic test possible also for those boards that do not have an identification code. A serial number is automatically assigned to the board, and the test report is identified by this serial number and it can be sent to a remote station.
 

Operating Flow:
- The Loading Unit takes the board out of the rack
- The board is transported in the testing area and is tested
- The Magazine Feeder takes the board and re‐places it in the rack.

 

TC 4040 400
LOADIGN + MAGAZINE FEEDER + 4040 TESTER + FLIP OVER

The TC 4040 400 Test Cell allows testing the boards on both the sides, carrying the board loading/unloading in automated way and positioning them back in the rack.
 

Operating Flow:
- The Loading Unit takes the board out of the rack
- The board is transported in the testing area and is tested on the top side
- The Magazine Feeder takes the board and re‐places it in the rack
- The Flip Over Unit overturns the board, that is re‐transported in the testing area and tested on the bottom side

 

TC 4040 500
4040 TESTER + FLIP OVER + UNLOADING

The TC 4040 500 Test Cell allows testing the boards on both the sides.

Operating Flow:
- After having tested the top side of the board, the Flip Over Unit overturns the board, that is retransported in the test area and tested on the bottom side
- At the end of the test, the Unloading Unit places the Pass and the Fail boards in two different racks, according to the test results
