SPEA steps forward to the 32x Ultra-High Parallelism In-Circuit Tester

SPEA T300 Board Tester is an unprecedented and unique on the market board tester that can test and flash in parallel up to 32 PCBAs. The T300 features an Asynchronous Parallel Architecture that supports up to 32 parallel In-Circuit Test cores, with the additional capability of 256 cores for Flashing and Functional Test. T300 includes SPEA’s unique ICT-Plus test techniques that allow the detection of any defects present in electronics that are not detectable with traditional ICT testing. This new-generation bed of nails tester has been designed precisely to test and program a large number of boards in parallel or a large number of sections of a single big board. This enables high throughput and consequently very-low cost of testing and programming.

Ensuring the Minimum footprint and Maximum efficiency with SPEA’s Automatic Board Handling Equipment

The Automatic Board Handling Equipment is conceived with a compact-size and modular architecture providing a cost-effective and space-saving product. The equipment is connected to both tester and factory LAN via Ethernet TCP/IP interface. That makes it possible to take full advantage of the benefits of Industry 4.0: machine operations and sensors information can be transmitted to Big Data systems for predictive maintenance. Fully controlled by the tester operating system, its operating mode (e.g. pass-through or pass-back loading) can be set up directly in the Test Program so that no operator intervention is needed whenever a product change occurs in the production line.

Complete solution for power semiconductor testing

With its DOT800T, SPEA provides a complete solution for Power testing, combining on a single machine all the resources to perform ISO, AC, DC test on the whole range of power applications, from wafer test to assembled IGBT module test. In Electronica, visitors will see a real test setup for power KGD testing, demonstrating DOT800T test capabilities on diced dies. The tester is able to perform not only a complete DC parametric testing, but also AC testing, UIS/UIL Avalanche, RG/CG and Short Circuit testing, to screen out any possible defect before the final packaging. A full range of protections prevents any possible danger due to the high power dissipation, and suppresses any electrical arcing phenomenon that would damage devices and test equipment.
