SPEA Electronics Test Conference: a successful event in Tel Aviv!

A SPEA Electronics Test Conference was held on June 4th in Tel Aviv, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The event gathered the interest of an important group of technology companies.

Participants had the chance to increase their understanding of how test equipment, strategies and techniques can help electronic manufacturers ensure the highest product quality, while optimizing costs.

“Israeli electronics is among the most technologically complex in the world, and its applications are top-quality demanding” explains Andrea Ganio, VP for International Business Development at SPEA. “We are present on this market since the 80’s, with an important installed base, and our plan is to further expand our strength to provide the best customer support”.

Building a proper test strategy is essential not only to guarantee the products are error-free when released to users, but also, above all, that no failure will occur on field, for the entire life of the product. A challenging goal, especially for complex electronics, where test accessibility is limited and products need to operate in critical applications, such as medical, defense, military. With a warranty extension that can be as long as 25 years.

SPEA test equipment evolution meets all these requirements: from the capability to reliably contact the most miniaturized, high-density assemblies, to the most performant and accurate measurement instrumentation. In addition, mechanical architecture and test execution speed guarantee the highest throughput, to minimize the cost of test also for mass-volume productions.

The multi-functionality of SPEA systems complete the test performance, by going far beyond electrical test: today’s electronics integrates a variety of functions (from LEDs, to touch displays, push-buttons, buzzers, optical and mechatronic functions) that all need to be accurately tested.
