Health and Safety Commitment

SPEA’s commitment to health and safety is a core part of the company’s culture, aimed to address any work-related risks, provide a safe working environment to all the employees, enhance health and wellbeing at work.

A culture of safety is promoted and disseminated among all the employees, who are committed to systematically identify and manage the organization’s health and safety risk factors.

SPEA’s development of a health and safety culture also embraces the company’s supply chain: in order to guarantee the health and safety of all personnel, SPEA promotes the adoption of best practices and the compliance to international standards with all its suppliers.

Health and Safety Policy

1. Comply with the legislation on occupational health and safety

Occupational health and safety protection is the focus of the SPEA project, according to the UNI ISO 45001:2018 standard.

2. Ensure a clean, healthy and safe workplace

  • Analysis and control of health and safety risks generated by work activities, using a hierarchy of controls procedure
  • Provision of necessary equipment, including PPE
  • Verification of application of procedures

3. Adopt measures, plans and procedures for emergency response

  • Assessing and keeping track of potential emergency situations
  • Training of employees
  • Periodic drills
  • Provision of necessary equipment

4. Adopt measures and procedures to prevent injuries

  • Recording and analysis of all incidents and problems related to health and safety
  • Provision of necessary equipment, including PPE
  • Health Surveillance

5. Promote competence, awareness and involvement of staff

  • Information and training to all personnel
  • Updating of risk assessment for maternal or lactating workers, assessing on a case-by-case basis the need to change the worker’s job description

6. Communicate effectively with all staff
