28 time Toni Bou!

Toni Bou is the TrialGP world champion for the 14th time. He won this title at Lazzate (Italy), bringing the total world championship won to 28, between indoor and outdoor titles.  The Bou’s mathematical victory has come with a race to spare.

“I didn’t expect to win the championship today – ha said. It was avert tight race, like all the others this year, so it was very easy going from first to seventh place, so I couldn’t fail. I’m very excited with this title, and even more so this year, which it has been so strange with so many training and few tests. We have won both the indoor and outood title, which I’m very happy. Now It is the time to have fun and celebrate this victory.”

In the sporting annals books, finding an athlete who has won 14 consecutives world titles (28 if we also include also the indoor world championships) is not easy. It is something that goes far beyond the sporting achievement and rightly enters the World Guinness Record. In the world of motorciclying, this result is almost inhuman, considering the titles won by phenomena such as Agostinu in speed, Stefan Everts in motocross, and Juha Salminen in enduto. Titles won moreover in different classes.
